Widowed single mother Andréa just turned 40. She’s stuck in a job she hates, and her teenage son seems determined to derail his future. Although she's incredibly lonely, she isn't open to a new relationship yet. She still fiercely misses her husband who died seven years ago. After fending off a sexual attack at work, she takes action to remake her life. She rents a room to a free-spirited young woman who brings not only joy into their home, but also new people and a fresh way of thinking. Taking a leap, Andréa finds a new job and the possibility of new love, all while working to realize her dream of  owning a welcoming neighborhood café where she can ply her impressive home-style cooking skills.
